The successful candidate will have Grade 12, or the equivalent, supplemented by office
clerical experience. Other requirements include knowledge of regular office procedures;
ability to meet and deal with the public in a courteous manner; ability to learn and
operate a computer terminal and capable of neat and accurate work. Livestock and/or
data entry experience is considered an asset.

Accounts Manager
Northern Livestock Sales currently seeking a reliable permanent parttime accounts manager
for the Prince Albert Marketing Center.
Responsibilities include manage daily financial
transactions and records, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and front counter support.
Requirements: Prior bookkeeping experience, strong attention to detail and ability to work
independently. Experience with agriculture or auction environment is a plus.
Hours: 25 – 30 hours per week (flexible hours, could become more)

Yard Workers
Northern Livestock Sales Prince Albert is currently looking for Yard Workers during the fall run to work fulltime/part-time hours, potential for a lot of overtime in the fall months.
Responsibilities of a yard worker include:
Hauling bales
Feeding cattle
Penning cattle
Sorting cattle
Loading/unloading cattle
Candidates will be expected to work outdoors with cattle in a fast-paced auction market atmosphere. Candidates must be able bodied and must be open to working 8 hour or longer shifts when necessary to complete an auction sale. Candidates must have experience working with cattle.

Marketing Representative
Northern Livestock Sales currently has a fulltime position for a Marketing Representative at its Lloydminster marketing center.
As the Marketing Representative your duties will include:
Solicits the delivery of producer’s livestock.
Organizes and supervises the sale of livestock by auction.
Responsible to the Manager in monitoring NLS Feeder Finance Program.
Supervises the sorting and classifying of livestock for sale or shipment.
Yard related duties as required.
The successful candidate will have XII, or the equivalent, supplemented by courses in livestock marketing, grading and production, with five years’ experience in buying and selling livestock on a public market. Good communication and public relation skills are essential. Auctioneering ability would be an asset.
